Calgary International Airport - Sunshine Village The Banff Airporter is the official airport shuttle provider of Sunshine Village and the best way to get to and from Calgary Airport. Banff Airporter offers 10 transfers daily between Calgary Airport and Banff and Canmore. Banff Airporter also offers 10 transfers daily between Canmore and Banff as well as private transportation from Canmore and Banff right to Sunshine Village. Reservations are required; please book online or call 1-888-449-2901. Calgary and Canmore - Sunshine Village Sunshine Coach offers a convenient trip from Calgary and Canmore to Sunshine Village. With daily departures from several locations during the ski season the coach will provide you a comfortable and convenient way to get to the resort. There are combined bus & lift ticket rates available as well as discounted bus rates for season pass holders and Sunshine Marmot card holders. The Sunshine Village shuttle bus operates between the town of Banff and Sunshine Village Resort. There are pickup points convenient for all the hotels in Banff with times to suit early powder hounds or the more leisurely late skier. There are return trips back to Banff throughout the afternoon. Visitors holding a tri-area lift ticket (typically included in hotel packages or available from Sunshine Village Resort) get free use of the shuttle otherwise the following prices are in effect: Adult round trip: $15.00 Weather Conditions Sunshine Village is famous for its mild temperatures during mid to late-season. In late April and May, you can ski or snowboard in a T-shirt. Throughout the majority of the season, temperatures remain moderately below freezing. However, early season conditions can be quite cold, so it’s important to dress for the temperatures. To see the latest on regional conditions, click here Gondola Hours Sunshine Village’s high-speed eight-passenger gondola whisks guests from the base area parking lot up to the village in just 17 minutes. Please note gondola hours as there's no access to the hotel outside of these hours. For non-skiers or non-snowboarders, gondola only tickets are available.
